Capital Club Bahrain, in its 9th year in the Kingdom, has had a major impact in the way networking on a senior level takes place. Members can benefit from the vicinity that allows them to either use the Skyline Lounge or The Library on the 51st Floor;  on the 52nd Floor, Signature Grill restaurant awaits diners, serving an eclectic cuisine with a seasonal a la carte menu, or guests can revel in The Lounge with afternoon tea and house beverages. The members can also take a break from their business setting in the Members Bar, where the sky-high location serves as an informal setting to unwind in with an all-day menu they can indulge in.

Over the past years Capital Club Bahrain has expanded its approach towards business locally, regionally, and internationally. Throughout the last year, Capital Club Bahrain launched the Celebrity Chefs Series where internationally renowned chefs visited the club and would present varieties of their famous dishes to club members and members of the media. This initiative has brought exciting flavors to Bahrain from across the globe at the hands of Michelin-star chefs, as well as helped the local community by using local produce to create their dishes. Capital Club Bahrain introduced these chefs to the local community in the hopes to find an opportunity to be able to add to the ever-expanding culinary scene in Bahrain. Additionally, Capital Club Bahrain has also teamed with Bahrain Institute for Hospitality and Retail, where aspiring chefs have also had the opportunity to meet with the celebrity chefs and have received training under them during their stay, and sponsoring a fully-paid internship with the chef in their hometown. “This series has allowed us to not only host exceptional events for our members and their guests, but we are also able to train and groom the local talent at the hands of the experts.”, says Sumeet Jhingan, General Manager Capital Club.The venue has hosted the likes of 2 Michelin Star Chef Sylvestre Wahid, the renowned chefs from award-winning restaurant Villanos En Bermuda, 1 Michelin Chef Adam Byatt, Jamie Pesaque, 1 Michelin chef Thomas Troisgros , 1 Michelin Chef Paulo Airaudo, Top female chef Kamilla Seidler to name a few.

Catering to all aspects that lead towards a more sustainable Bahrain, Capital Club Bahrain also has set up the Business Speaker Series, in which the club invites successful businessmen and women from across the globe and different industries to speak about their businesses, and potentially open the doors for those business to make a hub in Bahrain. Business such as Tesla,  Uber Eats, TAKELEAP, and Fetchr – to name a few – have partaken in the series to educate and inform members about their business, what makes them a success, and how they positively adapt to and benefit the community they are within. “The launch of this series has welcomed many successful businesses from around the world into Bahrain, and it is an opportunity for us to showcase the potential Bahrain has as a business-friendly country”, says Sumeet, and adds that through the investment of various businesses in Bahrain, it leads to multiple outlets the community can benefit from such job creation, to efficiency within the evolving the society, and further cementing Bahrain’s image as one of the business-friendly countries within the region.

As a means to give back to the community and create a sustainable future for Bahrain, Capital Club Bahrain has also invested in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and has already implemented five of the original 17 goals. Focusing on issues such as Goal 5 – Gender Equality that would encourage the equal standing of male and female colleagues; Goal 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy to reduce waste produced for a cleaner environment; Goal 10 – Reduced Inequality to provide each individual a fair chance for better living; Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production; and Goal 17 – Partnership to Achieve the Goal to improve technology, trade, and finance within the country as well as within  building strong bonds and cooperation with supporting countries; Capital Club Bahrain has come together with its team to ensure these important steps are taken towards enhancing the professional environment and living environment. Pioneers in the industry, Capital Club Bahrain has already started using and promoting biodegradable products in the club, making them the first within the country from the hospitality industry to have committed to the 17 goals, and have had their efforts recognized by UN Representative H.E. Amin El Sharkawi.
